THURSDAY MAY 19:
We do not have any formal Hubbard House Reunion plans for Thursday. If you choose to register for Reunion II and stay on campus, your registration includes lodging on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and cannot be paid on a pro-rated basis. It is up to you as to when you would like to arrive on campus. Please visit our Facebook page if you would like to meet up with other alums to plan something on Thursday night.
FRIDAY MAY 20:
Living Room Tea, 4pm
We will be gathering for afternoon tea, house living room tbd. Tea and delicious snacks will be provided.
SATURDAY MAY 21:
Alumnae Parade, 8:45am
Whether it’s your official reunion weekend or you’re joining as a “1776-er,” the Alumnae Parade is always a great time. Line up is at 8:45am for those participating, but if you’d just like to watch and cheer, the parade starts at 9:15am.
Look Park Picnic, 12-2pm
Join us at Look Park, just a 10-minute drive from Smith campus. We have reserved picnic space, but there’s much more Look Park has to offer, including a water spray park, playgrounds, bumper boats, and mini-golf. We will provide all the fixings to make a killer sandwich. You bring whatever else you’d like to eat for lunch. If you want to grill, we do have access to grills, but you must bring your own charcoal and matches.
We will be gathering at picnic site 2 in the playground area of the park. Please note that if you are driving into the park, there is a $9 charge per car. Admission is free for those entering via the Northampton bikeway on foot or bike.
We also purchased an alcohol permit, so alcoholic beverages are permitted, but please remember that we cannot bring glass bottles or containers into the park!
Dogs are welcome to join in the fun but must be leashed per park rules.
Packards, 5pm
Let’s meet at Packard’s for happy hour!
Illumination Night, 8:30-10pm
Just a reminder that there IS Illumination Night during Reunion II weekend, complete with paper lanterns and musical performances.
Other Family Fun
Please note that the Ainsworth Gym will be open during reunion, including the pool (from 11:30am-4:30pm) and the climbing wall (from 3-5pm). There are also kid-friendly activities at the Botanic Garden and the SC Museum of Art. The boathouse will be open for boat rentals as well (not sure of the hours, but check it out when you get to campus).
